New Dental Reimbursement Fee Guide for Alberta

In 1998, the Alberta Dental Association (ADA) stopped producing the provincial Fee Guide with the consequence that all the dental claims made in Alberta in 1998 and 1999 were paid on the 1997 Alberta Fee Guide.

The Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association no longer considered the 1997 Alberta Fee Guide "reasonable and customary" and therefore developed the "Year 2000 Reimbursement Guide" to be used for claims adjudication effective January 1, 2000.
